Chris Tomlin - Kindness Lyrics
Open up the skies of mercyAnd rain down the cleansing floodHealing waters rise around usHear our cries lord let 'em riseOpen up the skies of mercyAnd rain down the cleansing floodHealing waters rise around usHear our cries lord let 'em riseIt's your kindness lordThat leads us to repentanceYour favor lord, is our desireIt's your beauty lordThat makes us stand in silenceYour loveYour loveIs better than lifeWe can feelYour mercy fallingYou are turnin our hearts back againHear our praises rise to heavenDraw us near lordMeet us hereIt's your kindness lordThat leads us to repentanceYour favor lord, is our desireIt's your beauty lordThat makes us stand in silenceYour loveYour loveIt's your kindness lordThat leads us to repentanceYour favor lord, is our desireIt's your beauty lordThat makes us stand in silenceYour loveYour loveIs better than lifeIs better than lifeYour loveOpen up the skies of mercyAnd rain down the cleansing floodHealing waters rise around usHear our cries lord let 'em rise(praying)Lord,We stand here,As the desperate peopleHungry for the things of youCome quiet the storms,That rage all around usSo that we hearThe passion thatBeats through your heartSpirit put healing in our handsPut life in our wordsAnd drive a passionFor the lost deepIn the hearts of your peopleInhabit the praises of usThrough childrenAnd father send us outWith a reckless passionDeliver us from evilAnd set a standard of unity-aca
